Among the Thorns

Set in the year 2012, the modern-day world can easily distract and choke out the message of God’s love for all people. The inhabitants of our current culture are as much on God’s heart as the people of the ancient world. Through back glances at the work that Jesus Christ did on the cross, we find that having a relationship with God is as attainable today as before. This two-hour passion of Christ musical is mind-challenging and eye-opening.

Each year we depict different scenes from Christ's life, we sing different songs, and we emphasize different characters; however, the message is the same: Jesus Christ left Heaven and came to earth as a man, took the penalty that each one of us should bear, and died in our place. In His rising again, we are guaranteed an eternal existence with God in Heaven if we accept that Jesus died for our sins, thereby taking our punishment for those sins.
